Why This Must Be Read: A rec for Eliade whose beautifully written stories are hidden away in the depths of LJ. Eliade wrote Rodney wonderfully well, and this ficlet combines a couple of my favourite things: Rodney being a hero, and John losing it because he might have died. This results in kissing, so happy endings all round. Short and intense, and an excellent read. As a first kiss story, it's also in the spirit of the
romancingmcshep festival that's running at the moment.
"I died a hero," Rodney whispered.
John leaned closer, filling Rodney's field of vision with his non-military-issue face and a strangely intense expression. "You didn't die, Rodney."

Date: 2021-02-17 10:46 pm (UTC)She does actually have an AO3 account, but she (or a friend) must have made it without adding the SGA fics. https://archiveofourown.org/users/eliade
I'll try emailing her to see if she'd let me archive her SGA fics to that account, but I'm not very hopeful that she'd respond. Worth a try, anyway.
She also has a Fanlore page, https://fanlore.org/wiki/Anna_S - so my backup plan is to archive all her SGA fics on Wayback and make links to them from the Fanlore page. Might even be possible to sort-of add them to AO3 via a collection of bookmarks to the permanent Wayback LJ links. Another project!
