November reccers volunteer post

This entry will be open to volunteers through October 31st. The official list will go up on Sunday, but I will always allow for late entries. :)

Comment with the username you'll be using to rec and the category you want. Choose a category from the list below or select a more rare category that has been used in the past. If you want to rec a category that is not on the list below or in Memories, please feel free to ask. Remember that you may volunteer for a category that isn't listed.

By signing up, you are committing yourself to reccing at least two (preferably four) stories in that category during the month of November. October reccers may only sign up for next month after posting their minimum two recs for this month. Remember that you don't have to check the Memories before choosing which stories to rec. If you have a good fic to rec, go for it! Do remember, though, that story links must be freely accessible, without requiring any sort of login to view. The FAQ and rec template, with detailed instructions, can be found here. Reccers may add self-recs once they have done their minimum two for their category of the month, and see more details at the FAQ entry.

Hey, so I didn't see it on the list but I was hoping that I might put forward some recs with the special focus on podfics. They'd probably be all, or mostly, McShep but they would be for the podfic not for the written story. Thanks. :D

I think this is a great idea. These days people read books either as text, or as audiobooks, but underneath that, they're all stories. It'd be good for this comm to also have podfic recs, and all podfics refer back to a text story, anyway.

As it states above, the list is only the most common categories. I LOVE the idea of podfic recs!

I would suggest, if it's not too difficult, that (if you have it) you add the link to the original fic. I know that most AO3 podfics have the link included in the beginning of the fic - that would be sufficient, too.
