Why This Must Be Read: This is such a fun, soft read. This is an AU where John didn't go on the expedition during the first wave, and shows up later. And Rodney is completely, utterly smitten. But he also has this unfortunate habit of looking absolutely disgusting whenever John shows up. Ripped, stained clothing, wild hair, etc. It's a short read but so fun.
