I suspect that no one really wants to be the first self-reccer (see this entry for more details), so I'm going to break the ice and offer one more tribute to Carmen Argenziano.

Why This Must Be Read: At the beginning of Death Knell, Sam is astonished to learn that Jacob gave up coffee for his symbiote. This little missing scene offers a possible scenario for how that might have happened, with some fun give-and-take between Jacob and Selmak.
As an unabashed coffee addict, he'd been vaguely surprised when he didn't suffer any withdrawal symptoms in his first days offworld. Still, he supposed that a symbiote capable of curing cancer and fixing arthritic knees would have little trouble tweaking his serotonin levels and adjusting his neurotransmitters to avoid caffeine-induced crankiness.
