Why This Must Be Read: In honor of the passing of the brilliant Carmen Argenziano. This is one little scene, a scene we'd all have loved to see where Jacob pitches a Air-Force-General-Sized fit at the Tok'ra Council and calls them on their bullshit idea of backing up their people. There's cursing, there's juvenile name calling, there's table pounding. I'm on the look-out for more Jacob fic to rec this month because, boy would I have loved to see more of him and I'm gutted that he's passed on.

I don't have time to read this now, but will do when I get back later. I was so sad to hear of Carmen's passing. I met him at a con in 2010, when a friend of mine was also one of the guests, so I got to hang out with him. He really was a lovely guy (even if he said that Bradley Whitford is gay!!!) as well as being an amazing actor. Jacob was definitely one of my favourites.

Thanks for stepping up with a tribute rec like this. I remember doing the same thing with General Hammond. Jacob was such a wonderful character and Carmen brought him (them?) vividly to life.

Thank you for the rec, this was an absolutely awesome story! And I am right there with you, I would have paid to see this scene.

Carmen Argenziano was an exceptionally talented actor, I always enjoyed his work, even when he played the bad guy and made me hate him. I knew something would be worth watching if he was in it, if only for his scenes, and I am really going to miss him.
