Why This Must Be Read: I like when people take notice of little background things on the show that we tend to take for granted -- for example, the ramp: has anyone but me ever wondered how they clean underneath that thing (other than with a fire hose)? -- and I like it even more when they put forward their ideas about those things in the form of entertaining stories.

I'm reccing this short little story because it did just that -- made me think about something I had taken for granted -- and, in the process, brought a smile to my face.


However, Teal'c's door was open, and he knew for a fact that only SG-1, Janet, and the General had a key to the room. It was a concession they'd made for forcing Teal'c to remain on base.
