Why This Must Be Read: One of the things I love about the Original team of Jack, Daniel, Sam, and Teal'c is each team member's undeniable loyalty and caring - even through the toughest of times, during difficult enough situations that emotions and team bonds are stretched almost to a breaking point, they never do shatter. The fact they all care deeply for one another remains crystal clear. This story is testament to that caring, and it gives me a warm glow when I read it.
Jack studied him for a moment, taking in the gentle expression and the knowing eyes and the infinite patience, and he felt himself begin to relax.
