Am bored and feeling the need to make up for lost time, therefore;
Rec Category: Pairing.
Pairing: Sam/Janet.
Category: Preslash, series.
Warning: Tiny bits of girlslash.
Author on LJ: Don't know that she has one.
Author Website: The Pink Rabbit Consortium.
Link: "Mostly Painless" (the first story in the series).
This huge series (so far there are 12 stories that range from short episode caps, to novella sized standalones,) is quite arguably one of the best in the fandom - I *highly* recommend it to everyone, no matter if you're in to gen, het or slash.
It starts almost at the beginning of the show and follows Sam and Janet's relationship - from coworkers to friends and beyond - through the whole of the first season (as of right now it's unfinished, but PR has promised an update that will continue the story into the second season soonish). PR expertly weaves her own stories into the show's canon, tying up lose ends as she goes and putting new twists to things we've already seen. It stays mostly on the preslash side of things till the very end, but the tension is written so well that you almost don't want it to end.
It's quite long, so grab something to drink and get comfortable.
