Why This Must Be Read: One of the many "loose ends" in Stargate is the unremarked upon issue that Glowy Daniel appeared to Jack (and Teal'c?) but not Sam (even when she was close to turning to liquid in Metamorphosis). This story addresses this with a touch of angst and then wry humor.

 

"So you two knew that I was in fact on another plain of existence. Content in your knowledge that I wasn't actually dead. All the while Sam thought...well, she probably didn't know what to think! God, Jack. You really are a bastard!"
