Why This Must Be Read:I know, my first kidfic rec for the month was by the same author, but this is as different as you can possibly get. Remember what I said about fluffy cuteness? This has it in spades... most of the audience (for this ummm, slightly different version of Daniel's instructional video on the Ancients that was in Stargate Universe and was definitely on youtube the last time I checked... ah yes:) are as fluffy as they come, being plush toys.

And Daniel is 6, still quite brilliant and absolutely adorable.

The author herself suggests it might be called kidfic crack. What I call it is fanfictional cotton candy, and every bit as sweet :)


So, Teal'c had mooed in a most undignified manner. Mitchell had fallen over, a smile plastered to his face, and Apophis was still a mass of knots and looking like he was about to pee on the newly cleaned rug. Daniel was not happy.

Getting no answer from Teal'c, and refusing to pay any attention to the other interlopers, he continued stoically. "The Ancients are the inventors of the Stargates and much of the advanced technology that was later usurped and used by the Goa'uld to enforce their rule -" What was that? Who snickered at him?
