Why This Must Be Read: This story is a missing scene for Enemies. Phoenix E has a very unique and insightful look at the events in that episode and in previous ones. This story takes place from the beginning of Jack & Daniel's conversation on the ship and continues through to the beginning of their playing with the ball. This story is mostly from Daniel's point of view, but quite a lot of it is actually about Jack, and they are both thinking and talking quite a lot about Teal'c. This story is not at all sappy. It's just a good moment between Daniel & Jack which showcases their friendship and gives some insight into what they may have been thinking at that time.
