This ficlet really is untitled, it's not titled "Untitled."

Why This Must Be Read: This is a little ficlet that salieri posted as a journal entry and was recced to me by others on my flist. I fell in love with it. The author calls it a hickey fic, but it is so much more than that. It's just a Daniel moment that is told with a haunting beauty and the knowing sadness that things must change. (The fic starts about halfway through the journal entry.) This fic does not really contain any spoilers but takes place sometime pre-season 9.

:-( I've actually loved season 9. So much of seasons 4 - 8 disappointed as far as Jack & Daniel friendship goes. One of the other recs I made today, Denial: 101, shows how far we can go without Jack even there. You may not want to imagine it just like that, but in some ways it's easier for me to use my imagination rather than be continually disappointed by what's on the screen.

I love your icon! I admit that sometimes I forget to use the spellchecker or just don't here on LJ just because it's so annoying. I've had a few amusing typos now and then. ;-)

I know what you mean - they've screwed so much with Boys frienship that I sometimes couldn't believe what I saw and heard. I miss the old "ways" so much. I'm still going through season 7 (curse Polish TV, bless Amazon :-)), but of course it was impossible to avoid the spoilers. And when I say I'm not gonna like s. 9 - I'm just afraid that without Jack aronud it's not gonna be *enough* for me (if you know what I mean). Not re Jack / Daniel - I think my imagination will handle this. It's just re the show in general.

And spellchecker? I rarely use it myself and I really should, not being English - native - speaker. But the icon is just sweet :-)
