Why This Must Be Read: I love just about any fic that has Janet Fraiser in a central role and this one, showing the team and especially Jack O'Neill from her PoV on a mission really hit the spot for me. It's short and yes there are some minor grammatical errors but they're minor enough not to dull my enjoyment of this little story. I like the Janet PoV and the voices ring true for me. Add a little action and h/c and it's a lovely little fic to read for those of us who still miss Janet.

When the temperature falls below zero Fahrenheit, the cold feels like tiny needles piercing your skin. You die feeling like you're burning, which is ...ironic, really. Dieing from the cold, feeling like you're in an oven. Sometimes, people even strip off, naked, as they die, trying desperately to cool down, killing themselves more quickly.

Or at least, that's what I've read. I live in Colorado, and go around in shirtsleeves - I've never experienced anything like it first hand.
