Why This Must Be Read: I'm sneaking in a last Sheppard rec as it's still August in some places. This is a short, poignant character study about John, pining for Rodney. It's about unresolved longing, things unsaid and unacted-on, and also about worry because Rodney's in the infirmary. It's a little sad, and very John.
