Oh, this is simply brilliant. And insightful and touching, and ... and, it's Teal'c and General Hammond, early days in, both struggling to find their way with one another after a crisis - so what's left to say about why to read this? This, right here, is a wonderful depiction of the beginning of Teal'c's journey toward resolving the contradictions between the cultural perspectives he was raised with and those very different ones of the Tau'ri. And it feels just so right that, following on from the events of Cor'ai, it is with Hammond that this journey, in part, begins.
