Why This Must Be Read: The day I stop reccing this fic is the day I have passed on from this mortal coil. But then I’ll still be reccing it in the afterlife, so…
This is a lovely treatment of the relationship between John and Rodney, in which John hasn’t recovered from the Iratus virus and has gone full bug-lizard. Rodney really goes out of his way to make sure this new version of John is comfortable and as happy as possible, and it’s a little heart-breaking. But also, the bond between them is just as strong as ever, and the ending will leave you full of happy tears and warm fuzzy feelings. Or your money back! LOL!
Plus, gushing over this fic is what initially made Taste and I friends, so I do have other sentimental attachments to it. But it’s a great fic and everyone should read it. At least twice.
