Why This Must Be Read: The Summary says: John and his friend Ford are a couple of musicians that witness a mob hit on St Valentine’s Day and need to get out of Chicago quick. Sadly the only way out is in a dress with an all-girls band. John thinks the gig will not only get him out of hot water, but land him the lead singer, who is looking for a sexy millionaire...he really should know better.

Does it ring a bell? Well it should as it is the SGA AU version of the Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe movie “Some Like It Hot”, one of my favourite movies from the 50’s. John is the Tony Curtis role and Aiden is the Jack Lemmon role but Rodney is a millionaire who stumbles on John and Aiden’s deception and decides to join in the fun himself.

The author notes say “This is a shameless steal of Billy Wilder's Some Like it Hot, with a McShep twist. I'm sorry, couldn't resist. I laughed so hard at the idea of John in a dress, I had to do it”

I loved how the humour from the original movie was carried over into this fic. This is down as one of my favourite SGA AU fics.
