Why this must be read:

This piece is a great study of Earth customs and its stance on homosexuality as seen from the eyes of a Pegasus native. But while it's thought provoking, what really got me was how Ronon's mind wandered around as John was bitching about his boyfriend. XD And how Ronon saw things! Just so down to Earth and straightforward. How sabinelagrande wove his train of thought and how he saw things was a hilarious kick in the pants! And I loved how throughout his mind wanderings, John's complaining about Rodney in the back ground. And the very end when John is looking at Ronon for a response to rant-a-thon, what does Ronon say? That ever appropriate response to bitching, "That's fucked up, dude". ROFL!!! Oh so appropriate and oh so Ronon! Fantastic character voice, wonderful examination of how cultures see things differently, and absolutely belly-rolling inducing hilarity. What's not to love? LOL

Why this must be read:

I seriously don't know what it is with hero!Rodney this rec cycle, but he's just turning up everywhere... *facepalm* In this utterly gut-wrenching and moving AU to Siege II, Rodney takes out that second nuclear-armed jumper to blow up more hive ships. With a phenomenal Rodney voice, Canadian_snoopy will make your hair stand on end and your heart beat at the implications and the goodbyes. Sheppard's not the only one with a hero-complex and this story just proves it. Make sure and have a hanky ready, this'll make you cry for sure.
