Why this must be read:

Kikkimax is one of the few author's I've read in more than one fandom, and this fic, again, just illustrates why. With enough twists and turns to make a reader dizzy, "Yesterday's Pain" draws you into a tale of past mistakes, pain, rage, and red herrings. At first glance, this seems like a typical mission fic with SG1 and SG7 investigating some archeological ruins. But soon, certain details start to creep in that hint that everything is not right here... What the reader will ultimately get is a fic that will leave you breathless from the sheer storytelling and an edge-of-your-seat suspense until the very end.

Story Summary:[Bad username or unknown identity: ]While excavating an old stronghold, Sam and Daniel aren't quite themselves. Is it Goa'uld technology, a curse on the castle, or something else that haunts them.

Why this must be read:

A captivating look at Daniel, early SG1 and into Season 8, all from Jack's eyes. Lokei explores Daniel's influence on others around him and how the Stargate program itself has changed Daniel. From the open idealist to the more controlled personage we have in later seasons, Jack contemplates Daniel in four snippets through the years. We also get some fantastic glimpses at Daniel's and Jack's friendship as it moved into the strong one they've got in Season 7 and 8. Definitely a fic to enjoy for any Jack and Daniel friendship lover.
