Why this must be read:

A fast-paced adventure full of a struggle for survival and rescue of team-mates, this fic also examines communication between friends and what misunderstandings can do to undermine those same friendships. Rodney is severely injured in an escape attempt with John and the others are captured. With a strained friendship and Rodney losing blood fast, Sheppard and McKay must find a way to survive and save the others. I was on the edge of my seat from word one. Tipper writes action and characterization so well that you can't help but be drawn in. You will spend many an adventure-filled hour reading and enjoying this winner of a fic. :)

Story Summary: A trade negotiation goes sour when the Team gets caught in the crossfire between rival factions on another world. Well, that's where it starts, anyway.

Why This Must Be Read: Ronon becomes email pen pals with Dave Sheppard in an effort to practice writing English. I love this not only for its insight into Ronon, but for the way it explores Dave Sheppard and his relationship with his brother. Although they can be read separately, I definitely recommend reading the story that inspired this one (Homework by busaikko), which is the same story, but through Dave's POV.

I always enjoy seeing Ronon's take on humans and their strange ways, and his attempt to learn English in this is both hilarious and endearing.
