Why this must be read: This was posted maybe four days ago, but it's such a phenomenal fic that I had to rec it. The author gets inside of Sam's head as she watches her planet - her home - explode in front of her eyes. There are Sam/Jack bits (mostly in hugs and comforting, nothing that should turn off anyone who doesn't ship them), but to me this is an overwhelming Sam fic that punches you in the gut in the most beautiful way possible.

Why this must be read: It is a good fanfiction that explores the episoide "Divide and Conquer" from Daniel's perspective. The story starts with Daniel overhearing Jack mention that he has more than appropriate feelings for Carter.

Why this must be read: When handed a new Goa'uld hunting gizmo invented by Bill Lee, Daniel and Mitchell head out on a mission/road trip to test it out, and, to pass the time, Mitchell does a lot of Daniel watching and Daniel thinking.  Daniel plays board games and mind games.  A mischievous Daniel keeps an off-balance Mitchell on his toes in this fun, lively little tale, with excellent character voices and a building romantic tension that feels both sexy and authentic.
