Why this must be read:

As my final Daniel rec of the month, it's fitting I choose one that has Daniel tallying up the men he's had to say good-bye to in his life. This is a five-things format fic that has Daniel chronicling the men that have touched him in his life and that he has lost. It's a touching gathering that have shaped Daniel and given him the family he never had growing up. And then there's Jack in bed at the end to cuddle with after all the angst of that list.
