Why this must be read:

Before I read this story, I always viewed WoO as one of the more light episodes of Stargate with humor being its best feature. Yet after reading Tallulah’s wonderful fic, I’m re-thinking that. It just never occurred to me that the time loop might never be broken before reading this. And now? I just can’t imagine being forced to live the same day for eternity, not even being able to die to end the cycle.  How does one keep their sanity? With a little help from friend, Daniel Jackson.

The friendship between these two guys is just a treat in this fic. I can just see how well they care for each other as they relive this day again and again. Even though the time loop reaches day 242, 255, 266, 267, 310, 483, 500, 502, 517, 621, 622, 623, 688, 712, Daniel is able to convince Jack not to lose all hope. Yet regardless, Tallulah does a fantastic job in conveying Jack’s continuing despair.  And in this situation, who wouldn’t just want to sit down and cry?  After reading this, you’ll just want to cuddle Jack. I swear!

Story Summary: A "Window of Opportunity" AU: the circle is unbroken.

Why this must be read: This is a short ficlet where SG-1 has returned from a planet of loving, warm people who don't have any problems expressing their emotions. Daniel embarks on a "I love you" journey with the team, with hilarious and heartwarming results. Through Jack's eyes we see just how much the team really loves each other. This fic has a delightful Jack voice, a wonderful exhcange with Janet and a splash of teamy goodness. Well worth the read.

Why this must be read: Author's summary - "John finds himself on the wrong side of science, and learns first hand what it means when certain scientific assumptions turn out to be wrong." This is excellent, dark science fiction with one heck of a role reversal, where Sheppard is the alien life form in the hands of a race who see him as nothing more than another animal to be studied. He is not only put through the physical wringer, but mental as well.

What I love most about Coolbreeze1's stories is that she knows how to follow through with whatever she puts Sheppard through. There are no quick fixes, no magic words that make it all better. She handles the situation realistically and sympathetically, with a fleshed out alien race that isn't merely there for the sake of having "bad guys," and wonderful friendship moments, most especially between Sheppard and Ronon.
