Why this must be read: I have a special place in my heart for fics that have both Jonas and Vala in them. And this one is simply lovely.

Jonas is so very weary of hiding he's desperate to find a safe habour and he spots what he believes is someone from Earth. She's not, but she might just be able to help him anyway.

Why this must be read: This fic starts with Jonas on Earth, not fitting in and takes him through the journey of settling in and finding his place. It ends with him back on Langara, trusted but alone.

It is a wonderful insight into Jonas' character and the dislocation he had to feel at having to pick up his life and change everything familiar twice. I'm really not doing this fic justice, because I am struggling to put into words just how right it is.
