Why this must be read: Very lengthy, but very gripping. And awesome Sam/Jack tension throughout. Set during any season when Sam was still a Major- it's about Daniel, Jack and Sam held captive by a society based off of slave labor. It's a bit cliche in terms that, well, the slaves are expected to pair up and "breed", but DustDevil writes it in a very realistic and skilled manner. Be warned there are repeated attempted sexual advances, and implied sexual assaults. The plot line just pulled me in and did not let up. Even though DustDevil puts the two characters in a situation that makes you think they're automatically going to jump each others bones, she/he instead builds up the romantic tension, which takes forever, :D, but that only serves to make their story that more realistic.

From loss of life to search for identity, from sparked memories to sparked conflict, Shinealightonme offers five different ways that Daniel managed to be elsewhere when SG-1 showed up... including the last one, my favorite, in which Daniel rescues himself. All very plausible, all well-written, and all an excellent read!


Arrom spares a look back at the quiet ruins that surround the abandoned settlement. He has wondered if perhaps they hold a secret, but there will be no chance to find out now.

Why this must be read: Short and sweet. And oh so very fluffy. This is post-Threads, Cabin setting. After all those years of denial, jealousies, longing, and basically shoving emotions into rooms, Jack and Sam finally fall into place. Did I mention sweet? Beautiful.
