Why This Must Be Read: This is a season 7 fic that that shows Daniel dealing with his descension with Jack's supportive presence and banter. Lots and lots of banter. The fic includes some nice insights on Daniel's character and on his descension, but mostly I adore it for the lovely Jack and Daniel friendship that develops into a very hot more.
