Why This Must Be Read:

This story explores a post-Atlantis John and Rodney who've left behind the city they loved for different reasons except, not really. Both stubborn men, their struggle to reconnect (and resist that reconnection) on Earth is a bumpy ride recounted from both John and Rodney's POV. Along the way, we learn how it all happened and, in the end, whether the two of them can reach consensus on the future. The addition of a cheeky female OC adds a lovely touch of humor in-between the arguments under the hot Mexican sun.

Less than a thousand words total, these two stories tell about a secret daily ritual and what happens when it's discovered. Light and sweet without being cloying, the stories leave me with a smile every time I read them.

Why This Must Be Read: Untamed is probably one of my favorite AUs simply because it's so believable, even with the supernatural elements that are interwoven into this 'Verse. Neoglith is one of those rare writers that draws you into a 'Verse and makes you actually want to go there, even if there are some truly despicable characters within it. There's a sequel that's just as intriguing as Untamed, and I highly reccommend reading both of these fine 'fics.

Why This Must Be Read:

A first-person missing scene from Ripple Effect, as told by Sam from the reality we know best. It opens with her trying to deal with the Room Full of Alternate Carters™ and ultimately needing to escape the chaos to her lab, where she runs into another person from of the Ripple Effect realities.

One of my fandom-peeves is the creation of alternate realities without a plausible diversion point - it happens too often, both in fic and the show. Eventhorizon7 gives us an outline of a believable diversion point without boring readers with an extensive (and unnecessary) narrative backstory.

There's a sequel to Ripples from the Heart called Correct Application of Pressure, although I have to say that I really enjoy the hopeful but still unresolved ending of the first fic as the conclusion to the story.
