Why This Must Be Read: It's Sam and her true love, her motorcycle. What, that's not enough to make this read-worthy?

Sam gives Daniel a ride to work, much to Daniel's regret. Fig captures the dynamic between these two friends so well. It's funny and sweet with hints of teamy goodness as well. Sam's personality, especially her free spirit and competitive nature, really shine. If you've only read sg_fignewton's recs, you're missing a treat by not checking out her fic.

Why This Must Be Read: You know all those cliched fanfics in which poor, woobie Daniel is bullied by nasty, mean Marines?
