Why This Must Be Read: This is a McKay/Weir fic from the POV of Aiden Ford. I think the best thing about it is that it has Ford's voice spot on, as he describes oblvious McKay can be sometimes to what people around him are feeling. There are also a few laugh-out-loud lines in it.

Why This Must Be Read:

This absolutely hilarious snippet was written as part of the LJ icon meme that went around last year. I have it enshrined as the one and only fic that escapes my "no ass-babies ever!" rule of fanfic, because it pulls off the scenario so fabulously in crack-tastic brilliance.

[livejournal.com profile] surrealphantast had me rolling on the floor at this one. So even if you've read it before it's still absolute gold :D

And as a bonus, if you scroll up - there's a lovely Jack/Sam Firemanverse snippet in the same post.

Why This Must Be Read: This is a really interesting take on Ford's addiction to the enzyme. The narrative style borrows from Fight Club and shows two very different Aiden Fords. There's the loyal lieutenant Aiden Ford, and then there's the enzyme-addicted Aiden Ford. Sheppard fills the role of Tyler Durden and it's believable because Aiden believes it. Believes that it's Sheppard, not him, who sets up the plans to take on the Wraith and destroy a hive. Though we know that it's not true in reality, reality is so skewed for Ford, that it's not until the end of the story that he realizes that it's all his own doing. It's a very intriguing story and a nice take on season two Ford's perspective.
