Why This Must Be Read: I Haven't finished this story yet, but I'm throughly enjoying it. The author has the character voices down pat, especially Rodney (even though he isn't the main character, he still shines). The universe James's created is highly interesting, given some of the "folktales" that turn out to be true. As a fan of werewolf stories in general this one delivers, so check it out, would you?

Why this is a must read: This story makes me smile. It takes place directly after the episode Foothold, and is entirely made up of the sleep deprived and rambling thoughts of one astrophysicist. It's exactly how I imagined it must be like inside Sam's brain. It is insightful, funny, and a little bit of ansgty (but not overly so).
