Why This Must Be Read: I'm a sucker for stories like this, where the friendship between the two characters is as important or more so than the romantic relationship. There's no mortal peril, no pressing emergency, just time for the two of them to talk. Mild humor, a bit of bonding, a bit of cuddling. It's a feel-good story, and sometimes you just want that.

Why This Must Be Read: I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy everything Minnow's written, so you can imagine how hard it was to choose just one of her stories. *g* This deceptively simple story is a delightful little moment in time between friends, and it makes me sniffle a little every damn time I read it. Sheppard's a pretty lucky guy, to have such friends.

Why this must be read: This story is just really wonderful. It puts you right in Ronon's head and it's a rich, complex and thrilling place to be. The characters are real and just what I would expect if they were in Publishing instead of the Pegasus Galaxy. The relationships translate seamlessly into this new universe. Plus, John wears glasses and that's hot. Yoga, drinking, bathroom sex and books. What could be better?
