Why This Must Be Read: There be humor ahead! Snarky humor! Every Daniel-Fangirl's Fantasy! The costumers wasted a perfectly good opportunity to indulge all sorts of fan fantasy when Daniel-as-lotar was kitted up in modest, gold pajamas. Obviously, Yu was insane.

This fic sets right the tragic oversight when Daniel is sold to an aging goa'uld, Leetha, who happily for us is not lacking in the "slave outfit imagination" department. The old girl might be too frail to get up to anything terrifyingly sinister but she has a great time in dressing Dr. Jackson, each outfit more outrageous than the last one. Once the SG-1 barbies action figures come out, there could be a real market selling the Daniel outfits described in this fic.

There's a purpose to the story, of course, as the SGC follows up a lead that Leetha has a goa'uld-killing weapon they'd like to get their hands on. The fic is mostly concerned with Daniel's interaction with the goa'uld but there are plenty of Jack jokes to groan over, Sam gets a moment of techno glory as she unravels a mystery, and Teal'c...well, Teal'c gets a few majestic moments and a hand in the humor.

Janet's POV. A shower scene for "Meridian". While overseeing Daniel getting "scrubbed down," Janet's thoughts become dark and graphic with what will happen over the next few hours and maybe a little wishful thinking of what might have been.

Why This Must Be Read:

I had a very difficult time watching "Meridian" and seeing the departure of a beloved character but this story though dark in places and a bit graphic kind of helped to wrap up this particular episode for me in my mind. It's an interesting missing scene that explains a bit of what will happen to Daniel before the inevitable. Be prepared to have tissues on hand if you decide to read this story!! Enjoy!
