Why this should be read: This is one that was written fairly early in S.1, but she managed to capture much about Zelenka that I love. He's got a quiet presence that for me is the focus of the character, and despite being a gen piece when I usually go for pairings, I really enjoyed this fic.

Why This Must Be Read:
This fic was written two weeks after Stargate Atlantis started its first season. Don't let it stop you from reading it. The chracterization is so dead on. It shows how Little Red grasps the personalities of John Sheppard and Elizabeth Weir. She's got their characterization in her - it's like those two people are part of her. This story is simple, but it's in its simplicity that makes it so great. This was one of the first Little Red fics I've read and it is still my favorite. If you're a Shep/Weir fan and haven't read this, you must.
