WHY READ?: I love this because the pace never stops, the story is as suspenseful and painful as any whump-fan could wish, and the tension, plot, and action have been carefully mapped out by the author. I’m a sucker for stories that tie a piece of Jolinar's past into Sam's present, and I’ve never seen this particular variation done before.
