This is the first Stargate fanfic I ever read outside of those my "core group of friends" have written and those don't count since they sucked me into the fandom in the first place. ;-)

Im reccing it because it's a missing scene I felt was needed after 'Children of the Gods', 'Enemy Within' and most especially it was needed after Cor-ai. The scene that was missing? Daniel and Teal'c coming to terms with the fact that Teal'c chose Sha're to host Apophis' mate. Not having gotten this reconcilliation by the time Cor-ai aired (when it needed it, don't you think?) I went looking in fanfic for it and found this gem. It's exactly how envision them broaching the subject, and a wonderful look into Teal'c inner thoughts during those uncertain first months on Earth.
