Why This Must Be Read: This is just a really cute fic, where John Sheppard doesn't really have a clue about what's going on around him - be it Lorne dating Parrish, or Rodney pulling strings to get Parrish back on Atlantis. This fic is just a perfect feel good fic that makes you smile, especially as all the clues line up for John. And when they do, it's awesome. Plus, the dialogue is just hilarious!
Deflection rarely worked on John, especially when he was trying to get to the truth. “No, technically, I can’t ask Lorne and he can’t tell. Nothings in the regs says I can’t talk to my significant other about it.”
Rodney's eyes blew wide. “Significant other?”
John smiled, one that when all the way to his eyes. “Well you’re a little old for the term boyfriend, don’t you think?”
Rodney turned to John, taking his head in his hands and leaning in to kiss his forehead like you would with a sick or scared child. “Okay, no more orgasms for you. It makes you lose your mind.”
