Why This Must Be Read: This is a story about patience, love, and discovering the unexpected. Despite the title and the pairing list, it's far from being a PWP. I love this story because of the insight into Sam as a sexual being and because this is such an in-character way for Teal'c to court her. Quercus's writing has an almost poetic quality to it which makes this story a pleasure to read.

I don't know if I'm exactly "pulled in" but this was definitely a nice Sam story. I don't really even like Sam any more, so I tend to avoid any story with her in it. :-) The author did a fantastic job of keeping Sam as Sam, but making her likable, too.
