Why This Must Be Read: This is a story about patience, love, and discovering the unexpected. Despite the title and the pairing list, it's far from being a PWP. I love this story because of the insight into Sam as a sexual being and because this is such an in-character way for Teal'c to court her. Quercus's writing has an almost poetic quality to it which makes this story a pleasure to read.

Oh, I know.... near as I can tell, I'm the first one to rec this pairing here. I pity the person who comes after me. There just aren't that many really excellent stories to pick from.
