Why This Must Be Read:

Classic action and adventure. A first contact goes wrong and Sheppard is captured while the rest of the team and Atlantis do their best to rescue him.

Fascinating world-building, a truly alien culture, surprising plot-twists and a particular interesting alien OC. Perfect pacing, great dialogue, a very well done and highly entertaining story.

This would be a recommendable story even if it wasn't a SGA fic.

The missing scene gives us an interesting glimpse into Ronons thoughts at the end of the story.
