Why this should be read: My all time favorite Christmas story! The Iowa verse is my favorite AU in this fandom. It just makes me so happy to see John find happiness and a family. I have no idea how many times I've read this story, but it still makes me laugh out loud.
Finding Sheafrotherdon's writing was like opening the door to Aladdin's cave and this story is one of many gems to be found.
