Why This Must Be Read: This is the first time-loop story that I ever read, and it is hilarious in the character's actions. So much awesome it can't be captured in words. Just trust me - read it if you haven't. Re-reading it just now made me laugh out loud!


By the 40th day Teyla stops threatening to cut off the most important bits of Rodney's anatomy, so he decides to consider that a victory and move on. He has her doing other things - things far, far away from his groin.

He says, "Why don't you use this time to do things you wouldn't otherwise. There are no consequences. Tell people how much you really hate them. Eat 5 gallons of ice cream. Kick that marine who called you fat in the neck. Just, go, go, please, somewhere else."

She tilts her head, considering, and says, "I would very much like to kick him in the neck." And then disappears in a cloud of crazy.

Rodney sighs, it's been the most exhausting 960 hour long Thursday of his life.

Well, the not-a-McShep-fan read it, and what made me read it was you saying it was a time-loop, I'm a sucker for time loop stories. The fact that the McShep had "eventually" next to it helped. I was hoping I'd get story first.

I LOVED IT! I loved the humour and Ronon's question just ...well, lets just agree it was lucky I wasn't consuming liquids at the time! I also liked the undertone of seriousness, with Rodney's moral dilemma.
