Why This Must Be Read: 99% of what I read is slash, and I barely read Gen. This, however, is my exception to the rule. The humor in this is just so cute, and is so like what I'd think a cracky version of them (or, better yet, something I call "Atlantis After Hours") would be. Elizabeth starts a little competitive game, and it catches on with the others of the expedition. Cuteness ensues. (Special thanks go out toelderwitty who got me to read this in the first place!)
Jack held up one finger--wait--to each of them. "This is not a game," he said, and backed away slowly to disappear down a corridor and, probably, stake out personal quarters to establish as a hug-free zone.
They watched him go. "Well," Elizabeth said. "If it was, we'd be tied."
