Why This Must Be Read: This story is a fairly long, action/adventure story - mostly gen, but with a sprinkle of romance. Wonderful world building and well thought out - and scary - alternate universe. A look at how it could have been on Earth and in the Milky Way with no Tok'ra. Our heroes are thrust into an angsty adventure, trying to find their way back. It's also a fixit story, in that Martouf/Lantash is brought back to life, and ends up going with SG-1 to the alternate universe. I love the story, and have read it several times - my only objection is that it is a bit short for all that is happening in it!
