Why this must be read: This short fic is absolutely hilarious and sweetly quirky. It's also very charming and there are several scenes that are laugh out loud funny, including a hilarious chase scene that has to be read to be believed. Rodney tries so hard, with grim determination, and John is amused and attracted despite himself. There's also an art piece, which is linked to at the end of the fic.

"Why do my sheep like you so much?” says John, fighting down a smile. He had never really expected to encounter a sheep rustler, even though it is allegedly a hazard of the profession; but even so, head injuries and mud aside, John’s actually kind of having fun.
“I don’t know!” says Rodney. “They seemed really happy to get into the truck, too. How do I make them stop?”
John smirks. “I have no idea. I’m sure you’ll get to it, though."
