As angelsgracie posted yesterday, she and medie are retiring from stargateficrec and passing ownership to me. I join all of you in saluting them for their tireless work and devotion to the comm and I hope I can do their dedication justice. I definitely still intend to continue my reccing duties. :)

The comm has been much less active of late, as Stargate's status as closed canon naturally results in less activity. But there are still plenty of fans out there, and here's hoping we can continue to spread fandom joy by reccing our favorite stories and sharing the squee!

As there's only a month left in the calendar year, we'll continue with the status quo for now. I hope to continue to learn some more about the behind-the-scenes work (the volunteers are all self-sufficient and wonderful) before suggesting any changes or modifications. The volunteer post will go up shortly for December, and we'll take it from there.
