Couple Important Things

First off, I'm pleasantly amazed at the number of recs we've been having. It's sooooo great!

However, I don't put them all into memories until closer to the end of the month. To make this a bit easier for me, I'd like to ask that you list the Rec Category first, please.

The Rec Category is the category you signed up to rec for the month. Later on, you'll be able to list all the categories the story encompasses. But the Rec Category is how I place it in the memories and that should be the category you volunteered to rec.

Also, make sure you're putting the Title, Author in the subject header, please. I don't put it in memories as anything other than those two items. It's easier to check the list that way.

Say - several of us have been thinking that this community might be able to use a "threesomes, foursomes and moresomes" category. Are we on crack? Would it be a category you'd be willing to have?

When I was reccing I used "slash-other" for this. But it's not quite right, and I agree that "multiple partners"(?) is a category that might go well.

Also, I owe folks here, especially angelsgracie, an apology. I started to rec one month and then got very, very sick. I was unable to read or focus my eyes on much of anything. I'm so sorry I dropped off the planet and I hope to rec again sometime soon.

No worries! You've done a lot of rec'cing in the past and everyone has RL stuff come up that gets in the way. So don't worry. When you get everything squared away, let me know and we'll be more than happy to have you rec again. *hugs*

Okay, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and I talked about this tonight. We agree that there is a movement in fanfic writing toward more of these types of stories so the community should reflect that.

We're willing to put up the category for September so long as we get volunteers to rec for it. *g* I think what [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is going to do is put up a 'Multiples' category, and when you're turn comes up to rec, you'd have open range to rec any multiple pairing of more than two.

We'll announce it, and the details, on the comm once she creates the sign up for it. *g*
