Why this must be read: Lots of action and adventure, angst and well paced apocalyptic-AU. Fast reading, and warning: character death.
It is somewhat S/J shippy, but it is woven through the story subtly.
Also, there is some great characterization and none of our team are perfect. This is truly an AU, where people have been changed by the forking in the road.
This is an almost novel length work, but well worth the read. The original characters are also particularly interesting and add depth to the story.
