Subject: "A New Dawn" by Alexanderd rated T
Rec Category: SGU with crossover with SG1 and SGA
Characters: Too numerous to list
Pairing: None found so far
Het/Slash/Gen: gen
Warning: Character Death,
Author's Website:http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2879879/AlexanderD

Why this must be read: Although SGU is also featured in this one, it's not the most prominent one. It shares equally with the other Stargate series. This is an on-going story (65 chapters so far!) of which I'm only halfway through. The author demonstrated incredible understanding of the nuances of war and his ability to write precisely and cleanly about massive multiple military operations without confusion is extraordinary. In each of the chapters, he clearly delineate multiple chapters within chapters regarding different Stargates, yet all are tied in together, an amazing feat when you consider the amount of different information each series have. Destiny is still very much important to all, and the all the bad guys are still around, the Genjii, the Wraiths, etc. Something like this can easily get too crowded and compete for attention, losing the readers but in this author's capable hands, such a fate have been avoided. Highly recommended!
