Rec Category: SGU
Pairing: Colonel Young and Nicholas Rush
Het/Slash/Gen: angst, adventure,
Warning: none explicit pre-slash
Author's on LJ=http://carmencatalina.livejournal.com/

Why this must be read:
A haunting story written perfectly IC. It starts off with the two of them on a planet. It doesn't quite say how they got on it alone or why they were on it. It starts off with them bickering a bit at each other, but the situation quickly become dangerous as the twin suns go down as they are too exposed to the brutal elements. The title come from a sad incident that happened in real life. You can almost feel yourself being swept along with the howling wind that's blowing so hard and you fear for the safety of these two. Will they survive? Rush is dangerously close to dying because of being so thin and Young is trying to keep up hope desperately. This story continues in two more, of which I will post the links below. The 3RD is not quite completed, but it's enough to give you an idea. Haunting, lyrical, and it stays with you long after you have finished reading it. This first part deals with the danger they've walked into. The second is the darkest of the night, the third is the aftermath.
