Why This Must be Read: This is one of the better rape/recovery stories I've ever read. It was realistic, harsh, gritty, kind of sad, but with a sense of hope too. I love the way Robin wrote the characters and how she shows the friendship between Jack and Daniel grow deeper.

Dude, I can't believe you found this. Talk about well hidden. And I agree, it's an excellent recovery fic in a genre swamped by the dubious idea of rape as a lead in to slash love/sex. I wish I had known about it when I was doing my nominations for the SG Fic Awards, because this one is worthy, and it's a shame it got left out just because it wasn't in the main archives. :-(

Robin also has a really good Voyager fic called True Colors...not sure if you read star trek fan fics...but some were really really good. Too bad LJ wasn't around when that series aired. You should try the Just a Guy series.
